Scottish Gaelic (Gàidhlig /ɡaːlɪɡ´/), also known as Scots Gaelic or just Gaelic, is one of the three Goidelic languages descended from Old Irish spoken natively in north-western parts of Scotland and in Nova Scotia province in Canada.
